It is recommended to use only thin (< 2mm) phone case. But, as a general suggestion for any wireless chargers, we recommend to remove the case or keep it very thin to avoid misalignment or overheating. Wireless charger may not charge or the changing efficiency may become very low for phones with thick hard cases such as metal cases, magnetic cases, cases with a magnetic plate/ring holder etc.
