It Works

- Though I have only used this cable with an android phone - and not "benchmarked" the data transfer" -as a data + charging cable it works.
(the magnet is strong enough to pull the microUSB plug out with a direct tug... an angled pull easily disengages it...)

The only downside of the magnetic plugs I have tried (all of them) is that they don't always work well with "ruggedised" phone and tablet cases - the case needs some "modification to work"... 4/5 - ain't bad.

Works but fiddly

Cable comes with three detachable ends for charging different devices. When you unplug your device, the end sticks in the device so that you have to get a pair of tweezers or something to pull it out and reconnect it to the cable. Maybe the magnet part isn't strong enough. Charges things fine, but a nuisance to use.

Thank you for the review. However, thats how the magnetic cables suppose to use/work. Small plugs (adapter heads) are attached to the devices permanently (which also acts as a dust proof for the ports) and when charging required, just snap the cable with magnetic end to the plug.
